NEO Periodontics & Dental Implants is a specialty practice in Solon, Ohio, focused entirely on the health of your gums, the bone that supports your teeth, and long-term tooth replacement — from non-surgical periodontal therapy to advanced implant surgery.
Dr. Thomas Rodriguez, DMD
Dr. Rodriguez is a Cleveland native, born and raised in North Olmsted. He graduated from North Olmsted High School in 2013 and completed his undergraduate education at Case Western Reserve University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
In December 2016, Dr. Rodriguez was accepted into the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. During dental school, he was awarded the Dental Benefits Scholarship in recognition of his academic achievement and clinical excellence. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2021 and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, an honor reserved for students graduating in the top 10% of their class academically.
Dr. Rodriguez completed his specialty training in Periodontics at Case Western Reserve University, graduating from the periodontics residency program in 2026. His training emphasized evidence-based periodontal therapy, periodontal regeneration, implant surgery, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support comprehensive patient care.

Life Beyond Practice
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys spending time with his wife, Melanie, visiting new restaurants, and exploring the Cleveland area. He also enjoys spending time with his dog, Rue, golfing, and supporting Cleveland sports teams. He remains dedicated to continuing education and the ongoing refinement of surgical techniques to provide efficient, precise, and patient-centered periodontal care.
